The Company is looking for a nearly or newly qualified Actuary with pricing experience to join their actuarial team.
Location: Dorking/London
Type: Permanent
Key Duties (including but not limited to):
- Their Actuarial teams manage the pricing, reserve support and reporting for their businesses.
- To own Actuarial tasks, understand the broader business implications and to provide Actuarial and Senior Management with comprehensive insight into those tasks and their outcomes.
- To proactively liaise with the broader business, provide expertise & guidance and to lead business thought in areas of expertise.
- Communicate confidently and effectively on technical topics to a wide range of audiences and to influence cross-functional business decision making.
Student or ex-student actuary with a high number of actuarial examination passes/significant experience. Highly numerate. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with business stakeholders. Experience with Python or R would be an advantage. Ability to work under pressure, managing own time to meet tight deadlines and managing competing and conflicting demands within your workload.
