We are looking for someone who can build expertise to support the development and maintenance of industry best practice in model validation, including the Regulatory Internal Model, and ensure compliance with both existing and new statutory rules.

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Develop and lead the delivery of Model Validation.
- Act as the Head of Model Risk’s delegate on matters related to model validation and model risk.
- Lead and drive establishment and delivery of improved technical processes to meet or exceed industry best practice for Model Validation to support their Long-Term Objective of Sustainable Profitable Growth.
Qualifications:
- Professionally qualified with FIA or FFA (Essential).
- Detailed knowledge of the methodology and principles underlying capital management and reserving methods and practices.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of the regulatory requirements surrounding Internal Model approval and associated governance.
- Experience within Financial Services of deploying validation tools and techniques (such as stress and scenario testing, analysis of change and profit).
