They’re recruiting for Medical Claims Assessors to join their Group Protection team, where you’ll help deliver fair, informed and compassionate decisions for customers at pivotal moments in their lives.

Responsibilities:
- You’ll provide pro-active and comprehensive claims assessment and management services for a defined account portfolio, checking liability with your authority level.
- Assessing and triaging Group Protection claims, deciding what medical evidence to obtain in line with the Company’s philosophies.
- Providing a comprehensive assessment of Group Protection claims and determining liability, while meeting the expectations of clients and stakeholders.
- Cultivating effective relationships with IFA’s and Policyholders (employers), to maximise the effectiveness of their benefit management processes, including the provision of support for the portfolio management of defined schemes.
- Triaging and assessing new Group Protection claims, deciding what medical evidence is needed.
- Carrying out detailed assessments to determine liability within agreed authority levels.
- Building strong relationships with intermediaries, employers and stakeholders.
- Proposing rehabilitation or work reintegration support where cost effective.
