Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Reserving for clients in personal lines as well as the Lloyd’s / London Market, including for Lloyd’s Statements of Actuarial Opinion and Solvency II Technical Provisions.
- Calculating SCRs using the Standard Formula approach.
- Other ad hoc work across reserving, capital modelling, and pricing including advisory assignments, internal audits, and due diligence.
- Coaching of junior analysts and performing technical accuracy checks for other team members.
Minimum Requirements:
- Part qualified Actuary making good progress through the actuarial exams.
- Ideally 2-4 years of UK general insurance experience in reserving.
- Experience in capital modelling and/or pricing would also be beneficial.
- Experience with using reserving and/or capital modelling software tools.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Previous consulting experience is helpful but not essential.
