A global reinsurance and risk transfer organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Adjuster to manage complex, high-value reinsurance claims within the London Market.

This role focuses on the proactive handling and settlement of technically complex claims, working closely with cedants, brokers, co-reinsurers and legal advisors, while contributing insight on emerging risks and portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex and high-value reinsurance claims
• Analyse claim data, recommend reserves and negotiate settlements
• Lead proactive claims strategies, including litigation and dispute resolution
• Liaise with cedants, brokers, attorneys and internal stakeholders
• Prepare clear reports for senior management
• Conduct audits, due diligence and claims inspections as required
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members
• Ensure regulatory, conduct and compliance standards are met

About You

• 10+ years’ experience in reinsurance claims within the London Market
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to work autonomously
• Experience handling litigation and alternative dispute resolution
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of US Legacy Liability is highly desirable
• Collaborative, proactive and comfortable operating in a growing organisation
