You will be a member of the Analytical Solutions Team, working on defined benefit pension schemes. Main areas of work may include, but are not necessarily limited to the following in relation to defined benefit pension schemes:
- Actuarial valuations
- Funding updates between formal actuarial valuations

Person specification
Detailed knowledge of actuarial calculations underlying valuations, with the following aspects desirable:
- Schemes open to new accrual with active members
- Career average salary schemes
- Ability to both check work at a detailed level and carry out high-level reviews
- Experience of using pension valuation systems such as Mantle is desirable, or a strong willingness to learn new systems
- Ability to manage projects to agreed budgets and timescales, liaising closely with stakeholders
