Role: Claims Advocate – Crisis Management

Purpose

  • Manage high-value and complex claims for high-profile clients, providing proactive claims advocacy and strategic coverage advice through to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high-value claims from inception through to settlement.
  • Advise clients and Aon network offices on coverage and claims strategy.
  • Advocate with insurers, brokers, clients and other stakeholders to achieve effective claims outcomes.
  • Manage complex claims across Product Recall, Political Violence and/or Political Risks.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and communication throughout the claims process.
  • Mentor and support less experienced colleagues.
  • Keep up to date with market developments, regulation and claims best practice.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' London Market claims experience.
  • Background in insurance, broking, adjusting or legal claims environments.
  • Experience handling sophisticated claims in a client-facing role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of crisis management products and insurance principles.
  • Excellent organisation and administration skills.
