A leading global insurance business is looking to appoint a Senior Cyber Underwriter to join its growing regional team.
This is a senior technical position, with responsibility for underwriting a portfolio of Cyber business across both new business and renewals. The successful candidate will also act as a key technical resource within the team, supporting the development and mentoring of more junior Underwriters.
Key responsibilities:
- Underwrite new business and renewals across Cyber
- Manage and develop a profitable portfolio of Cyber business
- Act as a senior technical referral point for the wider team
- Support and mentor Junior Underwriters
- Develop strong broker relationships and identify new business opportunities
- Contribute to the continued growth and development of the regional Cyber proposition
The ideal candidate:
- Good technical understanding of Cyber risks and the wider Cyber market
- Experience managing a portfolio and making underwriting decisions
- Comfortable acting as a senior technical resource and mentoring junior colleagues
- Strong broker and stakeholder management skills
- Candidates from a Cyber broking background may also be considered where they can demonstrate strong technical Cyber expertise
