Are you a qualified pensions actuary looking for a senior opportunity where you can make a genuine impact, work with high-profile clients, and shape your own career path? We are working with a leading UK pensions consultancy who are looking to appoint an Actuarial Associate Partner to join their growing Retirement Consulting team.
Following the recent merger of their Corporate and Trustee advisory teams into one combined business, this is an exciting time to join. The move has created opportunities to work across a broader range of clients, challenges and specialist areas with the flexibility to build a role around your strengths and interests. For the right individual, there is also scope for a blended 50/50 role, combining work across a specialist area of the business alongside traditional Defined Benefit pension scheme actuarial consulting. This offers exceptional variety, exposure and the opportunity to influence across different parts of the organisation.
The opportunity:
- Lead strategic relationships with pension scheme trustees and corporate sponsors
- Advise on a wide range of DB pension matters, including valuations, funding strategy, end-game planning, risk settlement and member options projects
- Take ownership of complex projects and deliver high-quality advice to clients
- Coach, mentor and develop colleagues, helping shape the next generation of pensions talent
- Support business growth, market development and thought leadership activity
Youβll bring:
- Qualified actuary status with significant post-qualification experience
- Strong Defined Benefit pensions and consulting experience
- Experience leading client relationships and advising senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence trustees and sponsors
- A collaborative, ambitious approach and a desire to make a wider impact
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Consultant, Associate Director, Director or existing Associate Partner who is looking for their next challenge and the opportunity to progress towards Partner level.
