The Elvetham Hotel is an elegant country house hotel in Hampshire, rich in history and set in 35 acres of beautiful gardens. The hotel is one of the most historic sites in Hampshire entwined in the British Royal Family. The site can be traced back to as early as the 800's AD. Today the Estate consists of 91 bedrooms shared between the Main House and The Stables, as well as four unique and flexible function rooms.

We are currently recruiting for a Housekeeping Attendant to join our Truly Talented team. Reporting directly to the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel. You will perform all required cleanliness tasks and ensure that our guests are receiving an excellent guest experience.

Your role:

As a Housekeeping Attendant, your focus will be to create a positive and memorable arrival experience for guests through high standards of cleanliness and efficient service.

Responsibilities of the Housekeeping Attendant will include but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming and acknowledging all guests; anticipating and addressing guests’ service needs
  • Ensuring that all guests’ rooms and public areas are beautifully presented to our guests, playing a key role in creating exceptional experiences
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is always delivered in line with our core values and standards

The ideal person for this role will be enthusiastic about change, focused on details and trusting.

  • Highly self-motivated, confident, decisive and able to work with limited supervision
  • Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guests needs
