We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to support pupils with diverse and complex learning needs. Working under the direction of teaching staff, you will provide in‑classroom support, contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, and assist in managing pupils, resources, and classroom activities.

You will play a key role in supporting pupils with SEND, including the implementation of specialist programmes (speech and language, occupational therapy, and behaviour plans), promote independence and encourage engagement in learning. You will also assist with lesson delivery, monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

The role includes planning and delivering targeted learning activities for individuals and small groups, supporting behaviour management, and occasionally supervising whole classes during short‑term teacher absence. Collaboration with teachers, parents and external professionals, record‑keeping and assessment, and support for wider school activities such as trips, meetings and extracurricular provision are also part of the position.
