We are currently looking for an experienced Medical Secretary to join our friendly team. The post is part-time, 30 hours per week, to be worked over 5 days. Pay scale will be in accordance with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general secretarial support to Doctors and Health Professionals, including word processing and audio typing, and general clerical duties.
Qualifications and Skills:
- EMIS Web clinical system knowledge (essential).
- Choose & Book referral knowledge (essential).
- Lexicom knowledge (preferred).
- Ability to work under pressure to a high standard; flexible and reliable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Team:
We are a small friendly team consisting of GP's, a Salaried GP, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, in-house Pharmacist, Practice Nurses, a Nurse Associate, Health Care Worker and a robust administration team.
