We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a low-rise cladding project at The Elms for Decorum Housing. This is a fixed-term position of up to 20 weeks, ideal for a hands-on manager with proven experience in external refurbishment, façade works, or cladding replacement within the social housing sector. You will lead the day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the company's high standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site activities, subcontractors, and logistics.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and enforce site compliance.
- Conduct site inspections, progress meetings, and daily reporting.
- Coordinate materials, sequencing, and programme delivery.
- Communicate effectively with residents, the client (Decorum Housing), and internal teams.
- Ensure quality assurance and snag management throughout the project.
Qualifications
- Experienced Site Manager with a background in cladding, façades, or external planned-maintenance projects.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and site compliance.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to manage residents and client expectations.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid required.
