Elmgreen School, part of the Dunraven Educational Trust, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working under the instruction and guidance of teaching and senior staff to undertake work, care and support programmes to enable access to learning for students with social, emotional and mental health needs;
  • Assisting teachers and the SEMH Resource Base Lead in the management of students, working either in the classroom, with smaller groups of students, or one-to-one.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting students in one or more of the following areas: Autistic Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, SpLD, behaviour, emotional and social difficulties, or Deaf learners.
  • Commitment to ensuring that students share that passion to join our inclusion team.
  • Enhanced DBS check and a barred list check are conditions of employment for this post.
