We are partnering with a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing innovative therapies for solid tumors. We are seeking a Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development to join their growing global team.
About the Opportunity
In this role, you will serve as the clinical lead for one or more oncology clinical trials, working cross-functionally with teams in the US and EU. You will be responsible for:
- Designing clinical trial strategies and overseeing execution as medical monitor
- Ensuring patient safety and compliance with Good Clinical Practices
- Providing scientific and clinical input into study documents, analysis plans, and regulatory submissions
- Collaborating with colleagues in clinical operations, pharmacovigilance, manufacturing, quality, and biomarker development
- Building strong relationships with investigators, medical experts, and advisory boards to support program advancement
- Contributing to the development of Target Product Profiles and Clinical Development Plans
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- An MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree
- 4-6 years of post-training experience, including 2-4 years in clinical trials (phase I experience is a plus)
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry within clinical development and medical monitoring
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrix environment
- The ability to function independently and drive clinical programs forward
