Pastoral Manager
We are looking for a compassionate, resilient, highly organized professional who will join our pastoral team.
As Pastoral Manager, you will work closely with Heads of Year, teaching staff, parents and external agencies to ensure students receive the support they need to thrive academically and personally.
You will play a central role in promoting positive behaviour, improving attendance, supporting student wellbeing and helping students overcome barriers to learning.
The successful candidate will be a visible and trusted presence within the school community, building strong relationships with students and families while coordinating targeted interventions and support plans.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Have experience working with children and young people, ideally within an educational setting.
- Be passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential.
- Have experience working with vulnerable students or those with additional needs, including behavioural, attendance, SEND or mental health challenges.
- Be an excellent communicator, able to build strong relationships with students, parents, staff and external agencies.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Be calm, professional and solution-focused when dealing with challenging situations.
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and student welfare.
- Be committed to inclusion, equality and ensuring the best possible outcomes for every young person.
