What We're Looking For In This Role

You’re confident in your ability to craft some really stand-out creative, you combine your top-notch design skills with your ignore the ordinary thinking with a keen eye for detail, and you’re definitely someone who knows their way around Adobe Creative Suite, and has dabbled in Figma and the Google suite. We’re looking for a creative who has had experience with branding and identity, we want to see an impressive portfolio that’s packed full of creative solutions and a disciplined work ethic.

The challenge of the Mid-Weight Designer is to work with our brands strategists and creatives to shape a visual identity that sits alongside the client’s consumer or corporate brand, while speaking to their talent audience. Our stakeholders are CPOs, CHROs, and Heads of Talent Acquisition as well as CMOS and sometimes CEOs - our work is seen by the top people before the world sees it, so there’s a big expectation to get it right.

What will you spend your time doing?

  • You’ll take responsibility for 2-3 of our clients, you’ll be a core member of the project teams for those accounts, working with the creative teams to constantly iterate on their brand and come up with #1 work to show them.
  • You’ll also work closely with the rest of the design team - doubling up with the juniors to help them with their client projects, giving advice, feedback, showing them new skills and helping them level up.
  • You’ll support on pitches and incoming creative briefs, helping to shape initial concepts that will beat the competition and impress our clients.

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of agency-based design experience, employer brand experience is a bonus but not a must.
  • A strong background in the Adobe Creative Suite is essential, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects.
  • An interest in motion design is key, as more and more of our clients are looking for animated assets across their channels.
  • Working knowledge of Figma is a plus, as it is fast becoming a core platform for our creative output.
  • We are a Google Workspace agency, so confidence in Google Slides is key to delivering best-in-class client presentations.
  • Experience using Canva is also important, as we are frequently asked to design flexible templates for our clients to use independently.
  • While not our primary tools, familiarity with the Microsoft suite is valuable, with regular requests for PowerPoint and Word document design support.
  • A love for all things design, from brand development through to campaign assets, through to always-on social content, you’ll always have a drive to create best-in-class work for all mediums.
