The Role
They are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Wiring Technician to join their team. Responsibilities include assembling and wiring control panels, harnesses, and electrical components to high standards, working from technical drawings, and collaborating with engineers and project managers to realize system designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Assemble and wire control panels, junction boxes, and enclosures
- Loom and terminate cables neatly and accurately
- Perform continuity testing and basic fault finding
- Maintain accurate records of work and materials used
- Adhere to health and safety standards
- Support quality control checks and system testing
- Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve build issues or technical queries
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in wiring or electrical assembly roles
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams
- Strong soldering, crimping, and cable preparation skills
- Attention to detail and neat wiring work
- Proficiency with hand tools and electrical test equipment
