The Role: As a PCB Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of my clients Safety product portfolio. You will work closely with the Manufacturing, R&D, and Mechanical teams to create high-quality PCB designs for production and assembly. Key Responsibilities: Create and revise schematic and PCB designs. Develop and manage PCB Assembly Bill of Materials (BOM). Interpret design briefs, technical drawings, and specifications to produce accurate and effective designs. Collaborate with engineers, customers, and suppliers to refine and develop designs. Ensure designs meet industry standards, company specifications, and project requirements. Maintain an organised library of PCB and schematic footprints. Participate in design reviews and provide practical solutions to design challenges.The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a self-motivated, confident individual who possesses great attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for producing high-quality work. While being capable of working independently, you will also thrive as a collaborative team member who enjoys tackling challenges. Essential Qualifications & Skills: Proficiency in PCB Design software such as Altium Designer (preferred) or equivalent. Experience taking designs from concept through to prototype and final assembly. Strong understanding of electronic design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes (e.g., PCB design for EMC, high-speed, and high-voltage applications). Ability to interpret and create PCB designs that comply with BS/ISO standards (e.g., EMC, LVD). Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.The Package: Salary: Negotiable based on experience. Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Time in lieu policy.
