About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of a market leading electronics manufacturer as they look to expand their production teams across a number of areas. Operating in industries such as Aerospace, Defence and Medical, our client offers high-quality, high-reliability PCB electronic assembly, manufacturing and custom box-build solutions.
Due to growth across the business, our client is looking for a Test Engineer to join their team. As a Test Engineer you will work closely with the Production & Inspection teams to understand product specifications, run a series of tests to ensure it meets the required standards.
Responsibilities of Test Engineer
- Gather product requirements
- Run quality control on components and final products
- Analyse test results, detect issues and track root causes
- Suggest fixes and improvements
Requirements of Test Engineer
- Previous experience as a Test Engineer within an electronics role
- Hands on experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies, incircuit debugger
- QMS knowledge
- Analytical mindset
- Qualification in Electronic Engineering ideal but not essential
Remuneration
- 34k - 42k starting salary
- 20 days annual leave + bank holiday + Christmas shut down
- Company pension and sick leave allowance
