The Role
They are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Wiring Technician to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring control panels, harnesses, and electrical components to the highest standards. You will work from technical drawings and collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to bring our systems to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Assemble and wire control panels, junction boxes, and enclosures
- Loom and terminate cables neatly and accurately
- Perform continuity testing and basic fault finding
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
- Support quality control checks and final system testing
- Liaise with the engineering team to resolve build issues or technical queries
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a wiring or electrical assembly role
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical diagrams
- Strong soldering, crimping, and cable preparation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and neatness in wiring work
- Comfortable using hand tools and electrical test equipment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
