Our client has a great opportunity for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing team. They are specialists in air conditioning and refrigeration, delivering high‑quality installation, service, and maintenance solutions throughout the UK. The Role
You’ll be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining air conditioning and refrigeration systems, air‑handling units and chillers across a variety of commercial environments – including offices, nursing homes, schools, and manufacturing facilities.
As a field‑based role, you’ll be required to travel throughout the UK and work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently and effectively.
- Install and commission new equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service on‑site and represent the business professionally.
- Complete job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation accurately and promptly.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including splits, VRF/VRV, air‑handling units, and chillers.
- Excellent fault‑finding and practical engineering skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally at all times.
- Ability to complete electronic paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work, including willingness to work overtime when required.
- F‑Gas certification (Category 1) and DBS clearance (to be arranged by us if necessary).
- Full UK driving licence.
