Job Opportunity: Multiskilled Door Engineer
Location: UK-Wide Travel
Salary: £37,000 – £42,000 + Overtime + On-Call Pay
Hours: Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week (Monday to Friday) | Fixed Contract
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multiskilled Door Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in automated doors, steel doors, fire doors, and roller shutters.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain a wide range of doors including:
- Automated Doors (with experience in Insight Automation and Ellard systems)
- Steel and Fire Doors
- Roller Shutters
- Diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and company policies
- Accurately complete job reports and customer documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar engineering role
- Competence with Insight Automation and Ellard systems (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Willingness to travel and work away from home Monday to Friday
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Flexibility to work overtime and participate in an on-call rota
