The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Basis: Permanent, Full time 36 hours per week. A £312 tax-free working from home allowance is also payable annually.

Location: Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh or Remote (UK). Regular travel between devolved offices (Belfast, Cardiff and Edinburgh) will be required.

About the role: As a Facilities Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring our office environments across our devolved locations are safe, efficient and fit for purpose. You will support a wide range of activities including health and safety compliance, facilities contractor management, and business continuity planning. This role has a specific regional focus, covering our offices in Belfast, Cardiff and Edinburgh, as well as supporting our home workers. You will act as the primary point of contact for facilities-related matters across these locations, building strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers and landlords to deliver a high-quality, responsive service. You will be expected to travel between office locations as required, ensuring a consistent and effective facilities service across all sites.

About the team: Working closely with the Facilities & Accommodation manager and colleagues across Digital Information, Technology and Facilities. The team is collaborative and committed to delivering excellent service. We are entering a period of transformation and this role will be central to shaping our future ways of working.

Who we’re looking for: This role would suit someone with strong technical and organisational skills, a proactive approach and a passion for delivering high-quality support services. You will be comfortable working across multiple locations and managing competing priorities. We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in facilities and accommodation support
  • Strong IT and budget management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • A methodical approach to problem solving and planning
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of a regional portfolio
  • Flexibility and resilience under pressure
  • willingness and ability to travel regularly between office locations

You will act as a visible and trusted facilities representative across devolved offices, ensuring colleagues receive consistent, high-quality support regardless of location.
