Ashdale Care Home, part of the EH Group, is seeking a Deputy Care Manager to support the day-to-day leadership of our care services and help ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centered care in a safe and supportive environment. Working closely with the Care Manager and wider team, the Deputy Care Manager plays an important role in coordinating care delivery, supporting staff supervision and maintaining strong standards of quality, compliance and resident wellbeing. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Team Leader or senior care professional who is ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and values-driven organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the day-to-day coordination of care delivery across the home
- Supervising and supporting Team Leaders and care staff
- Helping ensure high standards of care planning, documentation and compliance
- Supporting staff development through supervision, training and performance support
- Assisting with rotas, staffing levels and workforce planning
- Promoting a culture of dignity, respect and person-centered care for all residents
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in a residential care setting
- Has experience supervising or leading care teams
- Is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered care
- Has strong organisational and communication skills
- Is registered with Social Care Wales (or eligible to register)
- Holds or is working towards a Social Care Wales approved management qualification for adult residential services
