We are currently recruiting for a Head Waiter/Waitress for The Library champagne bar located within The Edwardian Manchester Hotel.
Overview:
- Lead and motivate the waiting team to deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Ensure smooth and efficient service throughout each shift.
- Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional, and memorable experience.
- Train, coach, and support team members to maintain high service standards.
- Manage reservations, table allocations, and guest requests effectively.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues professionally.
- Work closely with the Bar Manager and wider management team to achieve operational excellence.
- Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with company standards and health & safety requirements.
- Support stock control and daily operational procedures where required.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a senior waiter/waitress, supervisor, or head waiter role.
- Demonstrates excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Is passionate about hospitality and customer service.
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Has a flexible approach to working evenings, weekends, and busy periods.
