The Educational Equality Institute, an NGO based in Norway committed to educating and thereby empowering disadvantaged girls. In response to the war in Ukraine, we started the project: “Together for Ukraine”. Free educational programs where we, together with our partners, will help 100,000 Ukrainians shape their future through education, upskilling, and employment.
We are looking for a volunteer Grant Writer responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to funding organizations on behalf of the NGO.
Role Scope- Research to identify potential funding sources and grant opportunities.
- Develop grant proposals that align with the NGO's mission and strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with funder guidelines and reporting requirements.
- Manage the grant application process from start to finish, including tracking application deadlines, submitting proposals, and following up with funders.
- Experience writing successful grant proposals for NGOs.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members and program staff.
