The Education Specialists are partnering with a range of primary schools across St Helens to recruit experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) for flexible roles, including day-to-day, short-term, and long term.
As a HLTA, you will support teaching and learning across the school, delivering pre-planned lessons and leading small group interventions. You may be required to cover whole-class teaching in the absence of the class teacher while maintaining a structured and engaging learning environment. You will be expected to uphold high standards, support pupil progress, and contribute positively to each school you work in.
This role is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants ready to step up or qualified HLTAs seeking flexibility.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2.
- Lead targeted intervention groups to support attainment.
- Support the class teacher with planning and preparation.
- Manage classroom behaviour using positive strategies.
