Together creating learning capacity in the classroom. We are seeking experienced and aspiring Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in St Helens. After a very successful year supporting schools across St Helens, The Education Specialists are looking for new Cover Supervisors for both full time and flexible part-time work. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain classroom experience and support student learning.

Cover Supervisor role requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people (school-based desirable)
- Confident managing a classroom independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists
The successful Cover Supervisor will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
- Support a positive and structured learning environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
