The Education Specialists (TES) are working in partnership with schools across Ellesmere Port to recruit dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants for short-term, long-term, and day‑to‑day cover roles. These roles offer a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs across primary and secondary settings.
Key Responsibilities of a SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) on a 1:1 or small group basis.
- Deliver tailored learning activities based on individual needs.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
- Implement EHCP targets and behaviour support strategies.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
- Provide personal care support where required.
