The Education Specialists are looking for an experienced School Caretaker to join one of our Liverpool schools on a full time basis. As a School Caretaker, you will be required to care for the premises, their service contents, and to report any defects to the Leader of Premises; this shall include the checking of the security of the premises when on duty and informing the police of any trespassers on the school. Other duties include, but are not limited to – * Key Handling * Repairs and Maintenance * Setting up exam halls * Liaise with external contractors regarding repairs * Application of health and safety procedures * Fire Alarm testing * Painting and Decorating the school grounds * Basic Administration skills * Maintaining the school grounds The ideal candidate will have – * Key Handling experience * Experience working as a caretaker in a school is desired * Ability to work alone as well as part of a team * Be physically fit and able to work at height or in confined spaces * A strong work ethic A full enhanced DBS is required for this role, which can be completed through ourselves.
