We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to join our Liverpool school. As a School Business Manager, you will be working in partnership with the Headteacher and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our school, and ensuring that the school is supported by financial, administrative, personnel, human resources and facilities management systems which enable the school to operate effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
– Lead and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance, support, and feedback
– Monitor and analyse financial performance, making recommendations for improvement
– Manage budgets, expenses, and financial resources effectively
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow
– Identify opportunities for growth and development, implementing strategies to maximise profitability
– Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into business operations
– Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
– Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and employee satisfaction
Requirements:
– Knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice and an awareness of relevant legislation.
– Proven experience as a Business Manager or in a similar managerial role
