Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, HLTA or Learning Support Assistant looking for a new long-term opportunity? The Education Specialists (TES) are currently recruiting on behalf of Fairfield House School in Trafford for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant / HLTA to join their team. This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

What will you be doing?

As a SEN TA / HLTA, you'll play a key role in supporting pupils to access learning, develop their confidence and achieve their individual goals. You'll work alongside teachers and the wider school team to:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required
  • Support pupils with their learning and development
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Encourage independence and confidence
  • Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Adapt activities and resources to meet individual needs
  • Assist teachers with classroom activities
  • Take on additional responsibilities where appropriate if working at HLTA level

Who are we looking for?

We're interested in hearing from candidates with experience supporting children or young people with: SEN / SEND | Autism | ADHD | SEMH | Complex Needs | Challenging Behaviour.
