The Education Specialists are proud to be working in partnership with St John Plessington Catholic College, part of the Holy Family Catholic Multi Academy Trust, to recruit a dynamic and dedicated R.E. Teacher / Second in Department for a full-time position with a full teaching timetable.

About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Religious Education teacher to join a thriving Humanities department in a school committed to academic excellence and the development of the whole child. The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging R.E. lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable)
  • Support the Head of Department in curriculum development and quality assurance
  • Play a leadership role in the ongoing success of the department
  • Contribute to the wider life of this high-performing and values-driven school
