The Education Specialists (TES) are seeking a proactive and supportive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a vibrant and inclusive school in Manchester, supporting pupils to engage with learning and reach their full potential.

This is a full-time, long-term position, working closely with teaching staff to provide classroom support across a range of abilities and needs. The school has a strong focus on inclusion and pupil development, with a collaborative staff team and a supportive learning environment, making it an excellent opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant looking to build experience in a school setting.

Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assist with both learning activities and personal development
  • Support pupils with communication, behaviour and engagement
  • Help create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCO and wider support staff
  • Adapt support strategies to meet individual pupil needs
