About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in the Clubmoor area of Liverpool. This is a full-time role supporting teaching and learning within a Key Stage 2 classroom, helping pupils to reach their full potential in a positive and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons to a Year 4 class
- Work with small groups of pupils to reinforce learning in core subjects such as English and Maths
- Provide targeted support to pupils who may need additional help to stay on track
- Assist in preparing classroom resources and maintaining an organised learning environment
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement
- Support pupils’ social and emotional development
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher
