The Education Specialists are currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher with experience supporting children with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH). This is a rewarding opportunity to join a nurturing primary setting, working with small groups of children with SEMH alongside a caring, collaborative team. The Primary Teacher position is to start after May half term until the end of the academic year initially, with the opportunity to continue in September and secure a permanent position directly with the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons meeting every child’s needs, adapting learning, building strong relationships, and supporting every child’s progress.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals.
  • Monitor and track student progress, celebrating every achievement.
  • Create a safe, positive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.

  • Has experience working with SEND students (or a strong interest in this area).
  • Has a warm and positive approach, and confidence in meeting diverse needs.
