The Education Specialists are looking for a Site Manager/Caretaker to work for one of our schools in Neston CH64 postcode area on a temp to perm basis.

Duties

  • Grounds & Premises Maintenance: Ensuring clean and safe school grounds, including litter picking, clearing leaves.
  • Porterage & Cleaning: Managing deliveries, moving furniture, setting up classrooms for events, and ensuring toilets are stocked with supplies.
  • Security & Access: Locking and unlocking buildings, managing alarms, and acting as a key holder.
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Undertaking routine maintenance and minor repairs.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday split shift 7am to 10am and then 3pm to 6pm. These are set hours with no negotiation.

Pay

Day rate of £110.00 per day.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a school caretaker preferred; suitable for those from a building background or similar.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service is required; if not, you must be willing to obtain one.

Duration and start date

Temp to perm: After a probationary period, the suitable candidate will become permanent with the school. Start date: Tuesday 5th May.
