The Education Specialists are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 4 with additional needs. This rewarding role involves working closely with an individual student to help them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within a supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities- Provide tailored 1:1 support to a primary school pupil with additional needs
- Assist in implementing personalised learning plans and strategies
- Support the child’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Monitor and record progress, providing feedback where required
- Experience working with children with additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties)
- A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
