The Education Specialist (TES) is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Wallasey to recruit a Business Studies Teacher for a 1-year fixed term contract starting in September 2025. This is a part-time role (4 days per week) and will include some KS3 Computing cover alongside a core Business Studies timetable.

About the Role:

  • Teach Business Studies across KS4 and KS5 (where applicable)
  • Deliver some Computing lessons at KS3 level to support departmental cover
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
  • Monitor student progress and contribute to department planning
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive and forward-thinking team

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Experience teaching Business Studies (KS4 required; KS5 desirable)
  • Confidence delivering basic Computing lessons at Key Stage 3
  • Passionate about developing students’ business acumen and digital literacy
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
