We are looking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated and inspiring qualified SEND teacher for September 2026 to support in providing an outstanding provision and quality first teaching to pupils taught in enhanced specialist provisions in the school. Pupils with autism, communication and interactions needs, sensory processing differences and executive function difficulties are provided targeted support. Alongside targeted small groups interventions such as: Attention Autism, box clever, colourful semantics, turnabout, Makaton for communication, which take place in our SEN specialist rooms. Our approach focuses on building independence, regulation, communication and successful participation in mainstream school life.

  • Use/implement/have knowledge of research backed interventions that impact on SEND pupils.
  • Passion for teaching and learning seen through excellent practice, a strong classroom presence and a love of learning.
  • Positive outlook and interpersonal skills – be willing to embrace change.
  • High expectations of yourself and the children.
