Sir John Heron Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced Nursery Nurse to work as part of our successful Early Years team. This role involves supporting the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom and engaging children in their learning.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold full and relevant qualifications for working in an Early Years setting in England (0-5 years) and must be listed on the Early Years Qualification List (outlined on www.gov.uk website).
- Have recent experience of working in an early years setting.
- Have experience of working with children, with a playful and enthusiastic approach.
- Demonstrate high-quality interactions.
- Be able to deliver and assess group activities such as phonic sessions.
- Work effectively within a supportive, committed, and successful EYFS team.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.
- Have high aspirations for themselves and a commitment to further development.
- Possess an excellent standard of spoken and written English as well as an excellent standard in numeracy.
