£53,000 plus bonus and company benefits. We are seeking a dynamic and dependable IT Network Operations Manager to lead our IT Operations team and drive service excellence. Supporting the Head of IT, you will ensure the effectiveness, resilience and efficiency of our IT service portfolio. You will lead and mentor a team of technical staff, including helpdesk, onsite engineers and senior technicians, to deliver high-quality support to our clients. As the lead for service improvement, you will oversee incident management, act as the highest point of technical escalation and spearhead the implementation of new technologies to enhance our operational capability.
Your Profile
- Leadership: Extensive experience in managing and developing technical teams serving multiple sites.
- Technical Expertise: Expert knowledge of network infrastructure, server networks, cloud technologies (Google/Microsoft) and Cisco platform inclusive of security management.
- Service Delivery: Proven track record of managing operational services to meet or exceed agreed SLAs.
- Service Management: Strong understanding of industry standard service management frameworks (such as ITIL) to drive continuous improvement and structured incident resolution.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to diagnose complex issues and provide clear direction for long-term technical resilience.
- Project Management: Knowledge of methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile.
- Communication: Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage relationships with senior staff and external suppliers.
Requirements: A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualifications and a full current driving licence for site visits.
