The Education People brand sits within the Children & Education portfolio for CSG. We offer a wide range of services, including high-quality training, inspiring conferences, expert consultancy, and practical resources designed to support every stage of the education journey, from early years through to adulthood and employment. Alongside our work in teaching, leadership, and inclusion, we also support adults facing barriers to work through the DWP-funded Connect to Work programme.
Why this role matters
This role plays a big part in creating engaging and impactful campaigns that support the growth of The Education People’s services, products, and brand, with a focus on the Connect to Work programme. You will help to make sure that we’re reaching the right audiences across digital, print and media, helping to strengthen our presence in the education and supported employment sector.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and implement marketing campaigns that align with commercial objectives.
- Create and update content across digital platforms, websites, blogs and social media.
- Produce reports and analyse the impact of marketing campaigns.
- Support the organisation and promotion of internal and external events.
- Build and maintain customer-friendly webpages with a focus on SEO and user journey.
- Work with internal teams to launch and promote new products and services.
- Design and edit customer-facing materials using Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Coordinate targeted communications, including newsletters and email campaigns.
- Work with service providers to ensure marketing output reflects customer needs.
- Contribute to ad hoc marketing projects and campaigns as required.
What we’re looking for
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant subject; CIM qualification desirable.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a marketing, PR, journalism or an events role.
- Proven success delivering campaigns across digital, print and social media channels.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and content creation skills.
- Confident using tools such as CMS, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite, DotDigital/Mailchimp and Asana/Trello.
- Experience supporting and promoting events, with knowledge of GDPR and marketing best practices.
- Organised, adaptable team player with the ability to manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Understanding of the education sector and current affairs is desirable.
