A welcoming primary PRU in Walsall is looking for a Primary Teacher to join their team, teaching small groups of pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours. This is a brilliant opportunity for a Primary Teacher who thrives in nurturing environments and believes every child deserves a fresh start.
This role requires a QTS Primary Teacher with strong behaviour management skills, the ability to engage pupils who have struggled in mainstream education, and a passion for creating positive learning experiences. Working with classes of no more than eight pupils, you will be supported by an experienced team of Teaching Assistants and a Headteacher who leads with clarity, care, and ambition for every pupil.
Job Role:
- Teaching a small primary class of pupils with SEMH needs
- Planning and delivering creative and purposeful lessons that meet pupils where they are
- Building strong and trusting relationships with pupils to re-engage them in learning
- Working closely with a team of Teaching Assistants in the classroom
