EYFS SEND TA

The Education Network is working with a school in Spennymoor who are looking to employ a qualified Teaching Assistant with a background in working with children with additional needs. This position is full time and starting ASAP.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for children with additional needs, focusing on pupils with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), in a school, nursery or care environment.
  • Assist with activities and routines to support learning and development for children, ideally aged 3–9, though age is not essential.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Qualified Teaching Assistant with a background in working with children with additional needs.
  • Recent experience supporting children with ASD.
  • Must be able to obtain an enhanced DBS check and undergo safeguarding checks.
  • Education Network recruitment adheres to Safer Recruitment and Compliance+ standards.
