Overview

Due to a high level of demand we are currently looking to recruit teaching assistants to work in our partner schools across Stanley. We are looking for enthusiastic teaching assistants who are committed to enhancing the education of children within a classroom. You will promote good behaviour and positive values at all times to impact teaching and learning.

Our Durham office works specifically with schools in the region and have a number of day to day and long term supply assignments.

Responsibilities

The Teaching Assistant will:

  • Promote good behaviour and positive values to support teaching and learning
  • Work with teachers to support classroom activities and pupil learning
  • Assist with planning and delivering learning activities as required
  • Support the inclusion of all pupils and contribute to a safe, constructive learning environment

Qualifications

  • Recognised Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse qualification Level 3
  • Recent school experience
