- Communication – clear and confident verbal and written communication with pupils, families, staff and external agencies.
- Behaviour and Attendance – strong understanding of behaviour systems, attendance procedures, and the barriers that can affect pupil engagement.
- Enhanced DBS – must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Professional Commitment – genuine commitment to improving pupil wellbeing, attendance, conduct, and long‑term outcomes.
