Special Needs Teacher required to teach small classes of Key Stage 4 students with a range of complex learning needs. Are you a Special Needs Teacher who has experience working with Autism, Complex Learning Needs, and communication impairment? Do you love making a difference? This outstanding Special Needs School are looking to add an experienced, compassionate and caring teacher to the team. You will be joining an experienced team of specialist staff who’s aim is to make every day special for the children that they support.
As a Special Needs Teacher you will be responsible for teaching a small class that is a mix of Key Stage 4 students, who have a variety of Special Educational Needs, the most common of which is Autism. You will receive outstanding support from a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants who will help you to deliver fun, engaging and valuable lessons for students. This wonderful school require a Special Needs Teacher who is passionate about helping every child get the most out of education and wants to make a difference.
Job Role:
- Teaching small classes of Key Stage 4 Students with Special Educational Needs.
- Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual students.
- Liaising with the SENCO and TA’s to ensure children are supported appropriately.
- Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for students.
- Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers.
