Science Technician – Birmingham. Start: Immediate / ASAP. Location: Secondary school, Birmingham. Pay: £100 – £125 per day. Contract: Full-time, term-time only.
Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Science Technician to join a thriving secondary school in Birmingham. Working within the science department, you will be responsible for preparing experiments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all practical lessons run safely and efficiently. This is a varied role where you’ll work closely with teaching staff to bring science to life in the classroom.
The Candidate
We are seeking a Science graduate or someone with strong laboratory experience who has a genuine passion for science. You’ll be confident handling equipment, supporting practical projects, and assisting both staff and students. Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential – what matters most is your enthusiasm, adaptability, and ability to work as part of a busy, collaborative team.
